This garden was beautifully landscaped in the style of a traditional Japanese garden. Our team was brought in to design and build a small koi pond that would become the focal point of the space. While the area was limited, we created a solution that fit perfectly — both aesthetically and functionally.

We were the first contractors on-site, installing the pond before the landscapers came in to finish the rest of the garden design. Instead of using a standard skimmer box, we installed a discreet intake bay, which blends in naturally with the environment. It also makes maintenance incredibly simple for the client — all that’s needed is a net to scoop out collected debris.

The completed pond features a 2-meter-long stream, adding the soothing sound of running water. It brings a peaceful, calming atmosphere that enhances the entire garden.

What makes this project even more special is that the garden will serve as the setting for a small business. The client is opening a beauty salon at the back of the garden, complete with a hot tub and a dedicated outdoor relaxation area. The pond and garden design create a tranquil, spa-like experience for future clients, blending beauty, nature, and serenity in one space.
